The Children’s Museum of Richmond (CMoR) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to inspiring growth in all children by engaging families in learning through play.

CMoR’s Book Bank helps to ensure that all children have quality books in their home, have the pride of book ownership, and have opportunities to read and be read to. The Book Bank program supports school readiness and literacy development in children and enables community partners to better support our children through the gift of like-new books. Since its inception, the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s Book Bank has distributed over 240,000 books and in 2022 we project distributing more than 10,000.

With your help we can reach even more children! By supporting the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s investment in a much-needed distribution vehicle called the Book Buggy, you are helping to support the delivery of age-appropriate books, educational field trips, and fun, hands-on experiences to children, community partners, and schools in the Richmond region who need them most. Your gift will support the purchase of the Book Buggy vehicle, creative, child-friendly branding of the exterior, and maintenance to help ensure our ongoing outreach efforts to deliver educational programming and materials to children where they are in their communities.

Thanks to our incredible sponsor, M&T Bank, your donations will be matched! Double your impact and make a gift today.
