Scholarship Family Memberships

As a part of our commitment to encouraging lifelong learning in children, the Children’s Museum is proud to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities, made possible by the generosity of our donors and sponsors who support the Access for All program. Scholarship qualifications are determined by household income, not individual income.

The Children’s Museum is pleased to offer Scholarship Family Memberships to those families whose household income is less than $35,000 per year or families that qualify for Virginia SNAP benefits.

Chesterfield County Scholarship Family Memberships

The Children’s Museum is pleased to offer Chesterfield County Scholarship Memberships to Chesterfield County residents whose household income is less than $40,000 per year or families that qualify for Virginia SNAP benefits. The Chesterfield County Scholarship Membership is made possible through the generosity of the Economic Development Authority of the County of Chesterfield.

How to Apply

To apply for a Scholarship Membership, the following documents are required from all members of the household who are 18 years of age or older and are not claimed as dependents on your most recent tax return. Any documentation provided must be from the most recent filing year.

Required: Scholarship Membership application and one of the following:

• The first page of your current tax return
• SNAP benefits approval letter
• Verification form from approved partner indicating your scholarship eligibility

As an alternative to our online application, you may deliver all application requirements to the front desk of any Children’s Museum location. You may also fill out the editable PDFs below and email them to Candace Ross at cross@cmorva.org or scan handwritten completed forms and email them to cross@cmorva.org. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
