Skybox Climber

The Skybox Climber is still receiving its finishing touches. As with any large-scale, custom installation, delays can occur as the work progresses. Roto, our exhibit design and fabrication partner, is completing the modifications needed to ensure the climber’s long-term use and enjoyment. We look forward to welcoming families into the fully open Skybox Climber later this year.

This exhibit includes the Periscope, Teleidoscope, and the Skybox Climber.

Climb, crawl, and discover Richmond from a whole new perspective. This multi-level adventure challenges children to build confidence, develop coordination, and solve problems as they navigate the towering climber. Along the way, a periscope and teleidoscope invite explorers to look closer, see the world in new ways, and experience the excitement of discovery from above.
