Summer Interns (3)

The Children’s Museum of Richmond is proud to partner with Cristo Rey Richmond High School for their work study program. In addition to each Cristo Rey student’s full course load, they participate one day each week in a Corporate Work Study Program at partnering companies. This program funds the majority of their tuition and helps them gain invaluable career readiness experiences. We are excited to have two students with us this school year!

Our students will be working on the museum floor, engaging with families in the various exhibits. Additionally, they will be assisting our Education department with field trips and our Art Studio coordinator with arts programming.

I live with my two brothers and my mom. I love working with people and helping them. I’m super excited to be a part of the Children’s Museum team. Thank you all for having me!

Kirsten

Hi, my name is Kirsten. I am a junior at Cristo Rey Richmond and now work at the Children’s Museum. I enjoy writing, drawing, crochet, football, and basketball. I’m open to trying new things always. I’m grateful for the opportunities that have reached in life and I’d rather see the positive outcomes in everything, so when coming towards new situations I try my best to come at them head strong and positive.
