VCU Living Lab Research Demos – Downtown

Tuesday September 9-Saturday December 6

VCU College of Health Professions Occupational Therapy logo. VCU Living Lab Research Demos in downtown Richmond, Virginia.

VCU psychology students, under the guidance of Dr. Marcia Winter, conduct research demonstrations on the museum floor, sharing insights from studies done through the National Living Lab network. Later in the semester, students will also conduct a live research study on children’s pre-writing skills with families who provide consent, coordinated by Dr. Virginia Chu from VCU’s Department of Occupational Therapy.

Visitors are welcome to stop by to observe the demonstrations and learn about the research process and, if interested, participate in a one-on-one live study.

Please note: This is not a general museum activity. Participation in the live study is one-on-one and limited to one family at a time. Visitors are welcome to stop by to observe the demonstrations and learn about the research process.
