Join the Children’s Museum of Richmond and its partners to help you and your child get ready for Kindergarten!
We’ll be hosting events from April through August to help prepare your family for the first day of school. The Children’s Museum of Richmond presents an online Kindergarten Readiness Speaker Series premiering on the second Friday of each month, followed by free Kindergarten-focused events in our Downtown Museum’s lobby on the second Saturday of each month.
On Friday, April 8 at 6:00pm, watch Tips & Talks: Kindergarten Readiness Tips on our Facebook. This talk features panelists Catherine Tompkins, M.Ed, the Family and Community Engagement Specialist for Chesterfield County Public Schools, and Brittany Evans, Kindergarten Teacher of the Year at Chalkley Elementary as they discuss ways to get your child ready for Kindergarten.
