Canceled – Pass By Parade

It has been brought to our attention a youth march has been planned for Saturday morning to start at the Children’s Museum Downtown. While we are not involved in planning the event, we stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and remain dedicated to being a space for all families and children to learn through play. It is for this reason that we have canceled the Pass by Parade, also scheduled for Saturday morning.
If you have new or like new children’s books to donate to the Book Bank and were planning to bring them on Saturday, please reach out to coordinate an alternative time to do so!

Pass by and say hi to the staff and board of the Children’s Museum in the parking lot of CM Downtown (2626 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220) for its first ever Pass by Parade!
Your kids will be able to see our Museum team, some local characters, a surprise guest, and play I Spy.
We’ll be doing a book drive; please bring some NEW children’s books for the Children’s Museum Book Bank!
Plan to stay in your car for this one-of-a-kind bash! PLUS there will be a prize for the best decorated car!
This event is FREE!
