Field Trips

Learning is always an adventure at the Children's Museum!

To book a field trip, please complete our Field Trip Reservation Request form. Please note that forms may take up to two weeks to process. If you are interested in booking multiple visits, please submit one form for each visit. During the academic year, field trip requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance. All requests for visits with less than two weeks notice will be walk-up visits at $9.00 per person, the daily admission rate.

Available Programs

The Children's Museum provides Field Trip programs for Pre-K up to 3rd grade and Special Needs students at its Downtown, Chesterfield, and Fredericksburg locations. All programs are aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning, NAEYC Standards and Foundation Blocks for Learning.



Field trip programs are designed to inspire students through hands-on activities and literacy and art components. The price is $9.00 per child. Scholarship funds may be available.
