The Children's Museum is excited to bring Outdoor Ice Skating to Richmond as part of the Legendary Santa tradition. Open all winter long, this 1,344 square foot outdoor synthetic ice skating rink is perfect for all ages and features weekday, weekend, and evening hours.

$12 admits Two Skaters! Includes skates for children and skates or shoe covers for adults.

  • Friday, January 10 during CarMax $1 Family Night skating is discounted to $5 per person from 5:00pm-7:30pm. *Note! Admission into the museum is $1 per person during CarMax $1 Family Night. Ice Skating is not included in museum admission.

 

The Ice Skating Rink will be closing for the season on January 12 at 5pm.

 

Rules 

Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult 16 years or older while on the rink. All skaters must sign a safety waiver prior to entering the rink- skaters under the age of 18 years must have a waiver signed by an adult 18 years or older prior to entering the rink.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted at the Outdoor Ice Skating Rink. Coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks are available at the Children's Museum.

Policies for the Children's Museum apply to the Outdoor Ice Skating Rink.

The Ice Skating Rink will be closed during rain & snow.
