Volunteer at the Children’s Museum

Volunteers make a difference at the Children’s Museum!

Read a story, tidy an exhibit, play with a parachute- the opportunities are endless when you volunteer at the Children’s Museum. Along with the joy and fulfillment that comes from helping children learn, our volunteers enjoy professional skill development and work experience. Plus, we have flexible hours to suit almost any schedule!

In-person volunteering and internships at the Children’s Museum has been temporarily suspended as we continue to limit the number of people in the Museum space. Applications will continue to be accepted. Onboarding and trainings will be scheduled once volunteers are permitted to return.

Junior Volunteers: Do you need High School volunteer hours? Students as young as 14 are welcome to volunteer at the Museum. Join us as an Exhibit Buddy, Art Studio Assistant, and at Special Events.

Adult Volunteers: The Children’s Museum welcomes volunteers 18 and up. Join us as an Exhibit Buddy, Art Studio Assistant, at Special Events, or in our offices. Do you have a special skill you want to share? Let us know!
